Rocket Rendezvous Quilt
Here is a quilt I designed using my shortcut blocks - star point blocks and 4 patch squares.

Here you can see the quilt block and how to layout the individual blocks to make this quilt block. Make sure to pay attention to where the colors go.

I like to section the quilt block into 9 patches. You can also use 4 patches if you'd rather but for now I'll show you how to break it down into four 9 patches.
I think this is easier to follow. Once you make one 9 patch then you only have to do the same thing 3 more times to have four 9 Patch sections. Which then you sew together into the quilt block.

To make this quilt block you will need to learn to make the shortcut blocks used in this quilt block. You will find the directions in the links at the top of the page.
You need to make the shortcut blocks listed here. This is how many you need to make for one quilt block. You will have to decide how many quilt blocks you are making and then times the number of quilt blocks by the number needed for one quilt block to get the total number of blocks you need to make.

if you need any help feel free to contact me. I'll be happy to help you.
